Terms of use

1. Publisher

Glucami is published by Kairo Labs, legal form, share capital, registered office, company number. Contact: contact@kairolabs.fr. See also the legal notice.

2. Purpose

Glucami displays glucose readings from your own accounts (LibreLinkUp, Nightscout), raises alerts and lets you log insulin injections, meals and events. These terms apply to the app and its related services (account, sync, subscription).

3. No link with sensor makers

Glucami is an independent app. It is not developed, approved or endorsed by Abbott (FreeStyle Libre, LibreLink, LibreLinkUp), Dexcom, the Nightscout project or any other maker of glucose sensors or meters.

Product names mentioned belong to their owners and are only used to identify the services the app communicates with.

Readings are accessed through services from these makers that are not designed for Glucami: they may change, stop or refuse access at any time, without notice.

4. Not a medical device

Glucami is not a certified medical device (no medical CE marking). It does not replace the official sensor app or reader, or the advice of a healthcare professional.

Do not make any treatment decision (insulin dose, sugar intake) based on Glucami alone: check with the official app or a fingerstick test.

Readings may be delayed, incomplete or missing, and an alarm may not go off (app closed, phone on silent, network unavailable, third-party service down). Keep the alarms of the official app turned on.

5. Account and sync

The account is optional. It brings your settings and subscription back on a new phone: only your email address and settings are kept, on a server located in the European Union. Readings, doses, meals and events stay on the phone; to keep them if the phone is lost, make backups. You are responsible for keeping access to the email address, or the Google or Apple account, you sign in with secure. The account can be deleted at any time from Settings > Account.

6. Trial and subscription

All features are unlocked for 7 days from first use. After that, some features require a subscription; the others stay free. Nothing you entered is deleted when the trial ends.

The price, duration and content are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is handled by Apple (App Store); the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends, in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are subject to Apple’s terms.

7. Liability

The app is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, its publisher cannot be held liable for the consequences of an inaccurate reading, a missed alarm or a decision made from the app.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its name and its content belong to Kairo Labs. Nutrition values come from the ANSES Ciqual 2025 food composition table, released under the Licence Ouverte (Etalab).

9. Personal data

How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. A new version will be shown to you and must be accepted to keep using the app.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, first contact contact@kairolabs.fr to find an amicable solution. Consumers may also use a consumer mediator free of charge: mediator name and website.
